When you share these three words what do you think of? Do you think of traffic that goes on for miles? Crowded sidewalks? City lights? Regardless if you’ve been or not, everyone knows this is the foundations of the city. To me personally I love New York City. I feel that it has a purpose and gives purpose. In New York City you can really be yourself and do what you would like to do. Although I’ve only been once I really do I have some sort of passion for this place. There’s something about it that’s so special and so different and just radiates positive energy. In life it’s important to have your own “New York City’s”. By this I mean having something that you care about regardless of how many times you’ve done it or seen it or experienced it, you just have this internalized compassion for it. So, what is your New York City?

Passion.
I stopped one of my favorite songs at the 41 second mark and the word was passion. I was super glad that this was the word that came to me because I have a lot to say about this. What is passion? Passion can be defined as something that really matters to you. What do you live for? What means the world to you? I think it’s so important to have a passion. When you’re passionate about something or someone it gives you purpose. I myself am so passionate about many things and people in my life, I understand I am blessed to have these people to care this deeply for because not everyone does. I advise everyone to look at the little things and the big things and just grasp for something to rely on and have a passion for.
Pretty words
Most people barely know themselves so what does it matter what they think of you?
Forgive all of yourselves.
You can try again tomorrow.

High school.
Being a kid high school looked so great. Being a teenager and having all the freedom and fun in the world. I thought to myself, wow when I’m in high school my life will be so much fun, I will have so many friends and there will never be a dull moment. little did I know what was in store. Now I’m not saying there’s not good moments in high school because there totally is. I’m just saying it’s definitely not as good as it sounds. I wish someone had told me about the stress, insecurity, anxiety and sadness that comes with all of these freedoms. Sometimes I wish I could go back to the carefree days where nothing really mattered…
Robots
Everyday I wake up and I do the same thing over and over again. I get ready, go to school, see the people I know and that’s about it. Sometimes it’s not very fulfilling and I get sick of how repetitive it is but I just have to accept it, for it’s all I know. This makes me feel not human, almost like a robot. I feel that humans should experience things new and not be “programmed” to do the same thing for days on days. Despite that, I feel that this is the case for most everyone. We do the same things and don’t seek change or make change. Therefore this is what makes us human and not robots. All of us live these tedious lives and can relate in this aspect.
